GREG DAVIS | Executive Director
Greg Davis has been the Executive Director of Pine Springs Camp since 2007. He and Ellie consider it a great honor to be leading this ministry that God has used to mold and transform so many lives. When he is not at camp, Greg loves to play basketball and is a basketball official for local competitions. Ellie serves Pine Springs Camp as the Director of Food Services and Women's Ministries. Ellie enjoys running and has completed 2 marathons and multiple half marathons. Greg and Ellie enjoy spending time with their grandkids Kaylee and Cooper. Their son, Joey is a student at Penn State University. Their daughter, Jackie, and son-in-law, Jesse, currently live in Latrobe, Pa.
MIKE HURLEY | Summer Camp Director
Mike came to PSC in April 2008 to serve as the Summer Camp Director. Mike isoriginally from Hamilton Sq., NJ, but have traveled the world serving the Lord and called many different places home. Mike earned his BA in Elementary Education from Waynesburg University and his MA in Intercultural Communication from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary. Mike is a huge sports fan, but severely outnumbered as his favorite teams are THE Eagles, THE Yankees and THE Rangers.
JUSTIN SHAFFER | Adventure and Facility Operations Director
Justin has served at Pine Springs Camp since 2006. He and his wife, Alice, are from North Carolina. They met as students at Appalachian State University, and followed God's call to work at Pine Springs Camp just 2 months after they were married. The Shaffer's have 3 awesome kids; Caleb, Lilly and Jack.
Justin received his BS in Outdoor Experiential Education from Appalachian State University and his MS in Outdoor Recreation from Liberty University. Justin has a healthy obsession with mountain biking, skiing and App State football! He has run a handful of ultra-marathons and loves exploring the great outdoors with his family!
DANIEL DUFFIELD | Day Camp Director
Dan joined full-time staff at Pine Springs Camp in 2022 after previously being a counselor, Program Coordinator, and Men's Director on summer staff. He met his wife, Maddy, on staff and they are excited to be serving the Lord at PSC again!
Dan is a proud graduate of Penn State University and is an avid fan of the Nittany Lions and Philadelphia Eagles. Maddy is a life long camper and summer staff member. She grew up near Morgantown, WV and studied Bible and Theology and Intercultural studies at Bethany Global University. Since being married they have lived in Minnesota, North Carolina, West Virginia, and now here! She enjoys crafting and biking with Dan in her free time.
